About Us

Karen McMillan works within the charities sector, with a particular focus on community development, mental health and the arts. She holds an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Stirling, where she began the novel she is currently completing.

Margaret Kerr is doing a part time practice-led PhD at the Art School in Dundee, investigating history and sense of place in Scotland through her art practice. She has a strong interest in pre-industrial Gaelic culture in the Highlands. Her work is informed by indigenous and historical ways of knowing the world and by spending time outdoors in Scotland. Her practice is focused on deepening our sense of connection with the rest of nature.
